Area Parks
Watertown’s ample park system is sure to impress visitors with 30 parks covering over 300 acres. Wooded walking trails, a 21-hole Frisbee golf course, skate park, fishing areas, lighted tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, ice skating, cross-country skiing, and playgrounds are among the many amenities offered. Don’t miss the Watertown Aquatic Center, featuring water slides and other wet and wild activities for all ages.

Interurban Trail
The Watertown/Oconomowoc Interurban Trail is a nonmotorized recreational trail, transforming the former electrical rail line into a bike and pedestrian path. The newly completed project brings 7-miles of paved trails for non-motorized travelers. Hike it, bike it, skate it! Enjoy marshy areas, tree lined spots, and a great view of the Rock River. The trailhead can be found on Clark Street in Watertown and includes a restroom facility, parking stalls, a water bottle filling station, bike racks, wayfinding signage, and a bike repair station. Bentzin Family Town Square
The Bentzin Family Town Square is Watertown’s newest park and event venue. Located in downtown Watertown, this beautiful space is full of family-friendly fun, and centrally located near downtown shopping and dining stops. Play in the water feature, attend an event, put in/take out your kayak, or simply enjoy the splendor of the Rock River.
Riverside Park
Riverside Park is the most scenic city park. Its 29 acres are laid out along the banks of the Rock River. Open areas are located throughout the park featuring barbecue grills, benches, tables, and several shelter facilities. Activity facilities include: softball complex, aquatic center, basketball courts, tennis courts, horseshoe courts, volleyball courts, and a large interactive playground facility for kids of all ages. The beautiful scenery lends a perfect backdrop for photography.
Marine Corps League Aero Park
This park is maintained by of the Bartelme/Schwefel Detachment of the Marine Corps League. It contains a pavilion and several memorials including a steel box beam from the south tower of the World Trade Center. The 600-pound, 4-foot-long, by 14-inch, by-14 inch steel beam can be visited year round at Aero Park – 984 Boomer St.
Brandt-Quirk Park
This beautiful gem is full of amenities that serve the Watertown community and surrounding areas. The park offers nearly four miles of beautiful trails to hike and cross-country ski. A Storybook Trail is tucked within the woods, and certain sections are open to pet exercise. The park is also home to soccer fields, lighted tennis courts, play equipment, a FREE 21-hole Disc Golf course, picnic shelters, restrooms, batting cages, and a baseball/softball center with lighted diamonds. The Baseball Center is bustling with games, including national tournaments. In total, the park boasts 169 acres. The park is located at 800 Carriage Hill Drive.
Fannie P. Lewis Park
Fannie P. Lewis Park is a narrow, 1 acre parcel located along the Rock River adjacent to North Water Street. This park includes a boat landing, handicapped fishing pier, gazebo, fountain, and flower bed
Silver Creek
Silver Creek is a small parcel of land located on North Water St. It is used by the Watertown Park and Recreation department during the winter months as an ice skating facility.
Veterans Memorial Park
Veterans Park is located between South Third and South Fourth Streets. It is a one acre site with a memorial to all war veterans. This is a quiet park with benches and a water bubbler. A World War I cannon can also be found here.
Watertown Pet Exercise Park
The Pet Exercise Park is located on the city’s southeast side and is accessible off of Boomer Street. This 10 acre park is designated as a leashed pet exercise area and features a parking lot and 1 mile of mowed trail.

Tournaments in Watertown
